Computer Training Requirement for Executive Course on Fri Dec 11, 2009 11:44 am

Hey Guys,
I am based in Bangalore and have been working for the past 5+ years. I intend to appear for the Module 1 of Executive program in June 2010. I received my student registration details 1 week ago. My questions are as follows:
(a) I spoke with the the Aptech representative who informed me that in order to appear for the online exemption test, I had to furnish a certificate issued by a known computer institute including MS-Office and Tally as the minimum coverage. Though I did undergo a computer course at First Computers (First Accountant) some 7 years ago, Tally was not included. Could anyone guide me through the possible alternatives?
(b) As fas ar submission of response sheets to the Institute are concerned, waht is the likely duration within which a response from the Institute could be expected considering that Feb' 10 is the deadline for submission of all response sheets (In my case that would be 3 subjects)

regarding Computer training...you can ask aptech itself whether there is any alternative. or you can contact the ICSI praying the situation. they will definitly give you a solution.
as the tie-up with aptech happened very recently, no precedents are available.
regarding response sheets, you can send on or before the deadline. its better atleast you send one or two test papers before the deadline.

Dear Friends,
APTECH is cheating the ICSI students,
I have paid full fees and 90 days have passed,
now APTECH alloted me a batch, and the training
centre do not know the course ware, nor they are
are of probable date of commencement of training
they commence training.
I know another 10 members from visakhapatnam
also in the similar fate.
God only will help us.
